RN HOPS - Imaging

About the role

The RN HOPS – Imaging role supports patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic imaging across the Cleveland Clinic Main Campus. You will rotate through CT, MRI, and Nuclear Medicine modalities, providing high‑quality nursing care in a fast‑paced, technology‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to hospitalized patients receiving imaging services, including assessments, documentation, and notification of abnormal findings.
• Perform telephone triage, call rotations, and administer medications and treatments.
• Develop and coordinate care plans with patients, families, and the health‑care team, and facilitate discharge planning.
• Maintain core nursing competencies, including CPR, BLS, and skills labs, and cover other nursing roles as needed.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current state RN licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• At least one year of recent RN experience (two years preferred).
• Ability to work 4‑10 hour shifts with variable start times, on‑call and weekend requirements.

Required skills

• Experience with CT, MRI, and Nuclear Medicine imaging modalities.
• Certification in CPR/BLS.
• Preferred: PICC line, CRNI, or VA‑BC certification within three years of hire.
