About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Digestive Disease Institute is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide night‑time care on the G100 Gastroenterology and Hepatology unit. This unit treats patients with a wide range of gastrointestinal and liver conditions, including complex multi‑organ failure and pre‑transplant care.

Key responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to patients during the 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM shift.
Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans.
Document and communicate patients’ conditions accurately.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments, and follow physician and nursing orders.
Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs and educate patients and families.

Required profile

Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
At least one year of acute care RN experience (military RN experience considered).

Required skills

RN licensure.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Acute care nursing experience.
