RN Ambulatory – Vascular Medicine

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Main Campus is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its Vascular Medicine team in an outpatient setting. The role focuses on delivering compassionate care to patients undergoing vascular procedures and wound care.

Key responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on nursing care during outpatient visits and vascular procedures such as sclerotherapy, laser vein ablations, and phlebectomies.
• Assist in the Wound Care Clinic, prepare patients for procedures using oral anxiety medication only, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, seamless care.
• Perform nursing assessments, telephone triage, medication administration, and emergency measures including CPR.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN) with current RN licensure.
• At least one year of recent RN experience or equivalent clinical experience in an ambulatory setting.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and ability to obtain Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within six months of hire.

Required skills

• Proficiency in performing and assisting with sclerotherapy, laser vein ablation, and phlebectomy procedures.
• Knowledge of wound care assessment and education.
• Competence in BLS; willingness to obtain ACLS certification.
