RN Ambulatory – Neuro Expansion

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Neurological Institute is expanding its state‑of‑the‑art ambulatory facility. This full‑time RN position provides care for patients undergoing same‑day neurological procedures across pre‑op, intra‑operative and recovery areas.

Key responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments, telephone triage, and develop care plans for ambulatory patients.
• Administer medications, monitor recovery, and assist with specialized diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Document patient care, notify physicians of abnormal findings, and provide health education to patients and families.
• Travel within the region to support physician clinics and surgical procedures as needed.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN or BSN) with current RN licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required for moderate sedation or cardiac stress testing within six months of hire.
• At least one year of recent nursing experience or equivalent clinical experience.
• Ability to perform light physical work, including lifting up to 20 lb occasionally.
