Revenue Cycle Educator

About the role

The Revenue Cycle Educator delivers and develops training on access, revenue cycle, and software processes for LVHN colleagues. The role combines instructor‑led sessions, e‑learning, and web‑based resources to support staff in navigating complex healthcare systems.

Key responsibilities

• Provide access, revenue cycle, and software training using live, remote, and e‑learning modalities.
• Create customized educational materials and teaching plans via the learning management system and web pages.
• Ensure curriculum complies with billing standards and supports EMR system go‑live and upgrades.
• Serve as a resource for insurance and registration helpdesk inquiries, responding within 48 hours.
• Collect, analyze, and troubleshoot data related to access and revenue cycle operations, identifying gaps and recommending process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Healthcare, Business, Communications or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 3 years experience in healthcare patient access or revenue cycle, plus prior training or teaching experience.
• Strong knowledge of workflow analysis, lean methodologies, and process improvement.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑changing environment and manage education phases of revenue cycle initiatives.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, including Publisher.
• Experience building webpages and using learning management systems.
• Familiarity with current EMR systems and payer information research.
