Residential Advisor – Part‑Time

About the role

The Residential Advisor works under the Program Director and Arete Partnership to support emerging adults in the Arete Transition Program. This part‑time position involves direct service, program facilitation, and administrative duties to help participants meet their goals.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate weekly grocery outings, evening activities, and community events for participants.
• Assist participants with schedule management, benchmark tasks, budgeting, and personal responsibilities such as curfew, technology use, and vehicle access.
• Conduct weekly apartment checks, support recreational trips, and serve on the Participant Advocacy Board.
• Complete shift notes, paperwork, and maintain program calendars using BambooHR, Google Drive, and other tools.

Required profile

• Interest in working with emerging adults and strong executive‑functioning skills.
• Integrity, trustworthiness, professionalism and ability to work independently.
• Ability to pass national and Vermont background checks.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Google Suite applications.
• Experience using AllelaSoft Electronic Medical Record.
• Familiarity with BambooHR, scheduling and calendar tools.
