Life Skills Coach (Full time)

About the role

The Life Skills Coach works under the Residential Manager and Program Director to support emerging adults in the Arete Transition Program. The role involves direct participant support, program facilitation, and administrative duties to help participants achieve their personal and benchmark goals.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate weekly grocery outings, evening activities, and community outings for participants.
• Assist participants with budgeting, schedule management, benchmark progress, and personal responsibilities such as curfew, technology use, and vehicle management.
• Complete daily shift notes, maintain participant records, and support benchmark reviews and advocacy board presentations.
• Participate in staff meetings, supervision sessions, and professional development opportunities.

Required profile

• Interest in working with emerging adults and strong executive functioning skills.
• Integrity, trustworthiness, and ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Ability to pass national and Vermont background checks.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Google Suite applications.
• Experience using AllevaSoft electronic medical record system.
• Familiarity with BambooHR, Alleva, and related program software.
