About the role
The Residential Advisor supports the Job Challenge Academy at Ft. Stewart, providing supervision, mentorship, and physical‑training guidance to at‑risk youth enrolled in the program.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor daily activities of assigned students, maintaining detailed activity logs.
- Conduct and lead physical‑training sessions, including calisthenics, running, hiking, and basic exercise equipment use.
- Enforce program rules, policies, and procedures while providing guidance and instruction.
- Work rotating shifts that may include evenings, weekends, or additional hours as needed.
Required profile
- Compliance with AR 670-1 grooming regulations (or approved religious/medical accommodations).
- Willingness to work flexible, rotating schedules.
- Ability to lead and actively participate in physical‑fitness activities.
