Resident Service Coordinator

About the role

The Resident Service Coordinator provides effective customer service to prospective and current tenants and supports property staff in delivering a quality living experience. This role involves coordinating resident activities, handling inquiries, and ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations at a large apartment community.

Key responsibilities

• Orient new residents, assist with utility set‑up, and manage package deliveries and claim reminders.
• Develop and publish the property newsletter featuring events, services, and advertisements.
• Address resident issues such as neighbor disputes, maintenance requests, and general inquiries; prepare incident reports.
• Schedule and manage clubhouse or activity center rentals, maintain contracts, and collect fees.
• Maintain guest suites and provide amenities like movies, books, and games.
• Process maintenance work orders, follow up with residents, and compile weekly maintenance reports.
• Inspect buildings and grounds for safety and cleanliness, reporting needed repairs.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience as a Resident Services Coordinator or similar role.
• Ability to work weekends as required.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to handle resident concerns.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Yardi property management software.
• Experience using CRM systems.
• Competent with Microsoft applications (e.g., Office suite).
