Research Coordinator II – Neurological Institute

About the role

The Research Coordinator II supports the Cerebrovascular Center’s research program at the Cleveland Clinic Neurological Institute. The role involves enrolling patients in clinical trials, conducting study visits, and collecting critical data while working within a collaborative, innovative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and conduct study activities, including regulatory document management, IRB submissions, and data collection/entry.
• Communicate with sponsors, monitors, and research personnel to ensure study compliance and assist with study visits, scheduling, and monitoring.
• Maintain regulatory binders, monitoring plans, and personnel certification records; support audit preparation and response.
• Develop and maintain study‑related tools such as tracking spreadsheets and educational materials; monitor data quality and protocol adherence.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED with three years as a Research Coordinator I, OR an Associate/Bachelor’s degree in a health‑care or science field with at least one year of relevant experience.
• Ability to work days 8:00 am‑5:00 pm with on‑call coverage one week per month, and to be on‑site four days per week with one remote day.
