Research Coordinator II – Hepatology

About the role

The Research Coordinator II will support the Hepatology Research Group at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus. This position focuses on enrolling patients in clinical trials, conducting study visits, and collecting essential study data, with a strong emphasis on patient‑facing interactions.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate compliant implementation and conduct of human subject research projects, including IRB submissions and regulatory documentation.
• Maintain study binders, manage data capture, and report serious adverse events and safety logs.
• Communicate with sponsors, monitors, and research personnel to ensure study compliance.
• Schedule site visits, webinars, monitoring and close‑out activities.
• Assist with audit preparation and maintain research tools.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED with three years of Research Coordinator I experience, or an Associate/Bachelor’s degree in a health‑care or science field with at least one year of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software.
• Ability to work in a stationary position for extended periods and lift up to 25 lb as needed.
