About the role

The University of Miami/UHealth Department of Psychiatry seeks a full‑time Research Associate 1 to support laboratory research projects in Miami, FL. The position offers the opportunity to develop expertise through hands‑on experiments, data analysis, and participation in scholarly publications.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret research protocols, conduct laboratory experiments, and maintain equipment.
• Collect, prepare, analyze, and evaluate specimens or tissue cultures.

• Manage research data, facilitate participant enrollment, and represent the department at community events.
• Provide project updates to leadership, faculty, and steering committees.

Required profile
