About the role

The University of Miami/UHealth department of SCCC seeks a full‑time Research Assistant 3 to support innovative research, improve implementation, and enhance family outcomes while ensuring compliance with university and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and implement research experiments according to protocols, ensuring high‑quality scientific results.
• Assess feasibility of innovations, analyze data trends, and develop reports and presentations.
• Prepare research kits, manage inventory, and coordinate kit delivery for multiple study sites.
• Support manuscript preparation, maintain lab manuals, and assist with budget tracking.
• Verify sample information, ensure chain‑of‑custody compliance, and report protocol deviations.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong learning agility, teamwork, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage a high volume of work accurately and efficiently.

Required skills

• Proficiency with office software and general computer applications.
