Research Assistant 3 – Full‑time

About the role

The University of Miami/UHealth department of SCCC seeks a full‑time Research Assistant 3 to support innovative research projects, improve implementation, and enhance family outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and implement research experiments according to protocols, ensuring high‑quality scientific results.
• Assess feasibility of innovations, analyze data trends, and develop reports and presentations.
• Manage inventory of supplies and equipment, prepare research kits, and coordinate sample collection and transport.
• Assist in preparing scientific papers, reports, and manuscripts, and maintain compliance with university policies.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong learning agility, teamwork, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage a high volume of workload accurately and efficiently.

Required skills

• Proficiency with office software and relevant computer applications.
• Technical ability to verify sample information, maintain chain of custody, and follow SOPs.
