Remote Telehealth Nurse Practitioner – Primary & Urgent Care

About the role

Join GoTo Telemed as a Remote Telehealth Nurse Practitioner delivering primary and urgent care to patients across the United States. You will own and manage your own patient panel, providing comprehensive virtual care while enjoying full clinical independence.

Key responsibilities

• Provide acute illness management, chronic disease care, preventive services, and health maintenance via telehealth.
• Prescribe medications using secure e‑prescription integration with major pharmacy networks.
• Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests when clinically appropriate.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including medical, dental, vision, and behavioral health providers, for cross‑specialty referrals.
• Maintain a consistent patient volume through GoTo Telemed’s recruitment and assignment system.

Required profile

• Active, unencumbered Nurse Practitioner license (multiple state licenses a plus).
• Board certification in Family, Adult, or related primary/urgent care specialties.
• Comfortable operating as an independent 1099 contractor and managing associated responsibilities.
• Strong desire to build long‑term patient relationships.

Required skills

• Proficiency with telehealth platforms.
• Experience using secure e‑prescription systems.
• Ability to order and review lab and diagnostic tests remotely.
