Remote Settlement Coordinator (Paralegal)

About the role

The Settlement Coordinator and litigation paralegal is a full‑time remote position supporting personal injury cases from settlement initiation through disbursement. You will work closely with attorneys, insurers, and clients to ensure accurate and timely processing of settlement funds.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare litigation and settlement documents and coordinate with insurance companies, opposing counsel, and clients.
• Manage escrow and trust account activity, verify lien and payoff amounts, and maintain detailed transaction records.
• Communicate case status updates, resolve discrepancies, and ensure compliance with firm policies and regulations.
• Support process improvement initiatives and keep digital files organized.

Required profile

• Experience with settlement services, escrow management, and trust account handling.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple cases remotely.
• Effective communication and customer service skills for interacting with clients, attorneys, insurers, and vendors.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using digital document management systems and case management software.
