About the role

PsyPhyCare is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide on‑site medical and wellness services for a federally supported residential youth program in Oneonta, NY. The role involves direct clinical care for young adults aged 16‑24 and collaboration with residential staff.

Key responsibilities

Triaging urgent and emergent medical situations, providing first aid, clinical assessments, and basic treatment.
Monitoring students with chronic health conditions, administering medications, and assisting with examinations.
Coordinating referrals and follow‑up care with healthcare providers and maintaining accurate medical documentation.
Delivering individual and group health education sessions and maintaining medical supply inventories.

Required profile

Current, unrestricted RN license in New York State.
Minimum two years of nursing experience in clinical, school‑based, residential, or community health settings.
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred.

Required skills

Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
