About the role

Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking a part‑time night registered nurse for the Med‑Surg unit at Pocono Creek Hospital. The position includes a $6,000 sign‑on bonus for eligible candidates and offers the chance to work in a nationally recognized, Magnet® hospital.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with unit policies.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to resolve patient needs.
• Provide patient and family education throughout the treatment course.
• Participate in performance improvement processes and evidence‑based practice projects.
• Teach, mentor, and precept new colleagues and interns as assigned.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Pennsylvania RN license and Basic Life Support certification upon hire.
• Ability to prioritize assignments and maintain clinical competency.
• Successful completion of unit‑specific orientation and competency assessments.

Required skills

• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and technology use.
