About the role
The Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking a full‑time Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department on the evening shift at its Gilbertsville location. The position includes a $10,000 sign‑on bonus.
Key responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with facility policies.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to resolve patient needs.
- Provide patient and family education throughout the treatment course.
- Participate in performance improvement processes and evidence‑based practice projects.
- Teach, mentor, and precept new colleagues and interns.
Required profile
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Licensed Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania (RN‑PA) upon hire.
- Basic Life Support certification (American Heart Association) upon hire.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and maintain unit‑specific competencies.
Required skills
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Basic computer skills.
