Registered Nurse (RN) – Ambulatory

About the role

The Ambulatory Registered Nurse provides comprehensive, age‑specific nursing care to out‑patient populations. Working closely with physicians and the health‑care team, the RN assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care while ensuring safety and comfort.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct patient interviews, explain policies, and answer questions courteously.
• Assess physiological health status (gastrointestinal, cardiovascular, respiratory, renal, neurological) and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Evaluate psychosocial health, cultural needs, coping mechanisms, and coordinate support services.
• Develop individualized patient outcomes, set measurable goals, and prioritize care activities.
• Coordinate cost‑effective use of supplies, equipment, and medication.
• Implement and continuously reassess the plan of care, administering prescribed treatments and using required equipment safely.
• Document patient conditions, interventions, and responses in accordance with departmental policy.
• Provide emotional support to patients and families and act swiftly in emergency situations.

Required profile

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
• Proven ability to assess both physiological and psychosocial health status.
• Experience developing and managing individualized care plans.
• Strong collaboration skills with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
• Competence in accurate clinical documentation and emergency response.
