About the role

The RN will lead patient care on a MedSurg/Telemetry unit during the day shift on a PRN (as‑needed) basis, applying the nursing process within the Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards.

Key responsibilities

Uses the nursing process to deliver patient care.
Assesses learning needs and implements teaching strategies for patients and families.
Communicates, delegates, and manages nursing team resources as a leader on the interdisciplinary team.
Applies data and evidence to evaluate and improve patient outcomes.
Adapts communication and care approach to respect cultural, ethnic, and religious diversity.

Required profile

Graduate of an accredited nursing school (required).
Current RN license in the state of practice (required).
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).
Bachelor’s degree in nursing (preferred).
Certification in a clinical specialty area (preferred).

Required skills

Proficiency with computers, software, and web‑based applications.
Basic Life Support (BLS) competency.
