Registered Nurse – Med Surg – Full-Time (Chabert)

This full‑time RN position in Med‑Surg at the Chabert unit leads patient care using the nursing process, delegates to team members, and upholds professional responsibility.

Key responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to deliver safe, high‑quality patient care.
• Assess learning needs and implement teaching strategies for patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Communicate, delegate, and manage nursing team resources, serving as a leader on the interdisciplinary team.
• Use data and evidence‑based information to evaluate outcomes and promote change.
• Adapt communication and care approaches to respect cultural, ethnic, and religious diversity.
• Perform other related duties as required, including compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (required).
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (preferred).
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• No prior work experience required.
• Certification in a clinical specialty area (preferred).
