About the role

Join Ochsner Health’s Labor & Delivery unit in Baton Rouge as a full‑time Registered Nurse working the night shift. You will provide compassionate, high‑quality care to mothers and newborns while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

Utilize the nursing process to deliver safe, evidence‑based patient care.
Assess learning needs and implement teaching strategies for patients, families, and staff.
Delegate, direct, and assist licensed and ancillary team members to achieve optimal outcomes.
Contribute to unit and department strategic goals and maintain compliance with federal, state, and accreditation standards.

Required profile

Graduate of an accredited nursing school; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Current RN license in Louisiana and active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Ability to work three 12‑hour night shifts (7 PM – 7 AM) per week.
