About the role

This position provides leadership in delivering patient care on the Internal Medicine unit at Kings Highway. The RN utilizes the nursing process, adheres to the Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards, and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to achieve quality outcomes.

Key responsibilities

Apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
Delegate, direct, and assist licensed and ancillary team members while ensuring safe practice.
Educate patients, families, and staff, adapting communication to diverse cultural and religious needs.
Use data and evidence‑based practice to drive improvements and achieve unit goals.
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and accreditation regulations.

Required profile

Graduate of an accredited nursing school; Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Certification in a clinical specialty area preferred.
No prior work experience required.
