Registered Nurse – General Internal Medicine

The G80 Internal Medicine/Vascular Surgery Unit is a 34‑bed specialty unit delivering comprehensive care for adult patients with acute and chronic medical conditions, including vascular disorders. As an RN on this team you will provide direct, high‑quality nursing care throughout the patient journey.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, document and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments, and follow physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions and care plans.

Required profile

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN or BSN).
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification if working in a critical‑care area (required within first year).
• At least one year of acute‑care RN experience or licensed military RN experience.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (when applicable).
