Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking a part‑time evening Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department at its Gilbertsville Hospital. The position offers a $6,000 sign‑on bonus and the opportunity to work in a nationally recognized, Magnet‑designated health system.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with RN standards and facility policies.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to resolve patient needs and optimize outcomes.
• Provide patient and family education throughout the treatment course and support safe transitions of care.
• Participate in performance improvement, evidence‑based practice projects, and unit‑specific competency maintenance.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and current RN license in Pennsylvania.
• Basic Life Support certification (American Heart Association) upon hire.
• Ability to organize, prioritize assignments and successfully complete specialty orientation.
• Physical ability to lift/carry 40‑50 lb, stand/walk for long periods, and perform patient transfers.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and technology use.
