About the role

Join Lehigh Valley Health Network as a part‑time Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at the Hellertown Neighborhood Hospital. Provide professional nursing care, assess and manage patient needs, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for designated emergency patients.
Communicate effectively with physicians, staff, patients, and families to ensure safe, high‑quality care.
Provide patient and family education throughout the treatment course.
Participate in performance improvement processes and evidence‑based practice projects.
Teach, mentor, and precept new colleagues and interns as assigned.

Required profile

Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Current Pennsylvania RN license (or obtain upon hire).
Basic Life Support certification (American Heart Association) upon hire.
Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage patient care assignments.
Basic computer skills and willingness to complete unit‑specific competencies.

Required skills

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
