Registered Nurse - Clinical Research Coordinator

About the role

A registered nurse is needed as a Clinical Research Coordinator III in Hematology Oncology of Indiana, responsible for performing research studies under the medical supervision of the Principal Investigator. The role covers complex phase 1-3 interventional trial designs and study procedures, with duties performed independently and in line with regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care on clinical research protocols in line with GCP, ICH/FDA guidelines, including eligibility assessments, informed consent discussions and adverse event handling
• Dispense study medication, maintain accurate records of study materials and investigational products, and manage compromised products
• Complete IRB/IEC documents, keep site credentials current, and report safety concerns to the sponsor and IRB/IEC
• Collect and report accurate data, manage monitoring visits, implement CAPA and escalate protocol non-compliance to the study PI
• Assess the protocol and study plan to develop a study budget and ensure billing compliance

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Nursing
• Unencumbered RN license in the state of employment or multi-state license
• Valid state driver's license and compliance with the company driver safety policy
• 2-5 years of nursing experience, with oncology preferred
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision, in a fast-paced, multi-site environment, and to work remotely when required

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Prior EMR, EDC and CTMS experience preferred
