About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Main Campus is seeking a full‑time Registered Nurse for its Cardiology Stepdown units (J71, J72, J73). The role involves caring for a diverse cardiovascular patient population across day, night, and weekend shifts on a 25‑bed stepdown unit.

Key responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care, implement and monitor individualized patient care plans, and record patient conditions.
Execute physician and nursing orders, assess discharge needs, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a fast‑paced, telemetry‑monitored environment.

Required profile

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN, or BSN) with current state RN licensure.
Minimum two years of recent related nursing experience for external candidates; internal candidates may be considered with less experience after orientation and probation.

Required skills

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or Red Cross) at hire.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification for critical‑care areas (required at hire or within the first year).
