About the role

Join Ochsner’s Acute Dialysis team on Jeff Highway, providing exceptional patient care in a full‑time day shift. This role uses the Nursing Process within the Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards to deliver high‑quality outcomes.

Key responsibilities

Utilize the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
Delegate, direct, and assist licensed and ancillary team members while maintaining accountability for patient outcomes.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, communicate effectively, and contribute to unit strategic goals.

Required profile

Registered Nurse diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
No prior experience required.
Current RN license in the state of practice and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Required skills

Proficient computer skills for data entry and retrieval of patient information.
Ability to use Windows‑style applications and role‑specific software.
Effective verbal and written communication, strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
