Registered Nurse 3 – Specialty – Interventional Radiology (Full‑Time)

About the role

The Registered Nurse 3 – Specialty provides patient‑centered care in the Interventional Radiology department, delivering high‑quality, evidence‑based nursing services in a culturally competent environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document observations, considering age and cultural factors.
• Administer medications and treatments while maintaining accurate records in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Reassess and document the effectiveness of interventions, updating care plans as needed.
• Communicate care plans clearly to patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Participate in policy, procedure, and protocol development and ensure best‑practice adherence.
• Initiate discharge planning at admission and coordinate resources for a smooth transition.
• Serve as preceptor, charge nurse, or resource nurse and provide feedback to staff.
• Lead unit‑level projects that improve patient care, safety, or experience.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• Active Florida Registered Nurse license.
• Minimum four years of relevant nursing experience; at least one year in PACU, ICU, or Emergency Department preferred.
• Demonstrated advanced competency in specialty nursing practice.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
