About the role

Join the State of Georgia’s Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities as a Registered Nurse 2. This full‑time, day‑shift position in Augusta provides direct nursing care to a diverse client population, supporting health maintenance and disease prevention.

Key responsibilities

• Assess client health problems and needs under general supervision.
• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled clients.
• Provide case management and advise clients on health maintenance and disease prevention.

Required profile

• Associate degree in nursing from an accredited college or university.
• Current Georgia Registered Nurse license or multistate RN license.
• Alternatively, one year of experience as a Registered Nurse 1 (or equivalent).
