About the role
Allow your passion for improving lives to shine in this role where you’ll be responsible for customer relationship management through the effective use of technical knowledge to install, troubleshoot, service, and maintain equipment at customer sites.
Key responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by adhering to entitlements, setting clear expectations, meeting commitments and arrival times, and understanding the customer’s business to generate service revenue.
- Participate actively in the regional work team, improve processes, identify training gaps, and seek opportunities to increase capability and capacity across multiple modalities.
- Complete all administrative duties within Philips, state, and federal regulations, including timesheets, work orders, expense reports, Field Change Orders, preventative maintenance, and installation documentation.
- Utilize tools, support resources, and escalation processes to diagnose and resolve electronic, network, and mechanical problems, completing PMs, installations, and field change orders in a timely manner.
- Travel approximately 70 % of the time across the Augusta and Bangor area, with daily driving of 1–4 hours and occasional overnight stays or travel by air/train.
Required profile
- 1 + year of experience in a diagnostic imaging service environment or 3 + years in other electromechanical industries; experience with x‑ray, cardiovascular, cath‑lab, or image‑guided therapy equipment preferred.
- Associate degree in electronics or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to apply electronic, mechanical, and networking theory to install, diagnose, and repair equipment, using appropriate tools and test equipment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and on‑call rotations, and to safely handle radiation sources while wearing required PPE.
