Regional BIM/VDC Manager (USVI)

About the role

The Regional BIM/VDC Manager leads Digital Engineering delivery for Suffolk’s US Virgin Islands region, overseeing BIM, VDC and Digital Delivery processes from integration to final sign‑off. The role combines technical leadership, client and stakeholder management, and team development to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and with high constructability certainty.

Key responsibilities

• Manage delivery of BIM, VDC and Digital Delivery services across multiple large, complex projects.
• Develop BIM Execution Plans and Digital Engineering strategies aligned with client goals.
• Create 3D‑7D models to support pursuit, pre‑construction, construction and hand‑over phases.
• Coordinate with clients, project teams, trades and third‑party vendors to maintain a cohesive workflow.
• Collect, track and report project KPIs, driving continuous improvement.
• Train regional teams and trade partners on Digital Delivery tools and processes.
• Lead and grow a team focused on customer and client satisfaction.

Required profile

• 4‑year degree in an accredited engineering, architecture or related field.
• 8‑10 years of VDC/BIM experience with proven leadership on large, complex projects.
• Strong understanding of construction techniques, systems and coordination challenges.
• Willingness to start in West Palm Beach or Miami and relocate to St. Thomas (relocation assistance provided).

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Revit and other 3D parametric modeling software.
• Experience using model coordination tools such as Navisworks for clash detection.
• Ability to produce quantity take‑offs, custom Revit families, and 4D schedule simulations.
• Knowledge of BIM Execution Plans, VDC processes and Digital Delivery workflows.
