Red Team Offensive Security Analyst Manager

About the role

EY is seeking a Red Team Offensive Security Analyst Manager to join its Information Security (Info Sec) Active Defense team. The role focuses on Purple Team activities, using offensive techniques to validate and improve the firm’s defensive controls.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct attack simulations against Windows and Linux operating systems using advanced cyber‑attack vectors and exploitation methodologies.
• Emulate adversary behaviors, validate security detections, and assess the effectiveness of defensive controls.
• Identify, prioritize, and remediate security gaps in collaboration with security operations and incident response teams.
• Perform proactive threat hunting, anomaly analysis, and contribute to cyber deception initiatives.
• Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.

Required profile

• Strong background in information security with hands‑on experience in offensive security techniques.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within cross‑functional teams.
• Effective communication skills for presenting technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
