About the role
We are an architecture firm located in New York City seeking a professional Receptionist to manage our front‑desk operations. You will be the first point of contact for visitors and staff, ensuring a welcoming and efficiently run office environment.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the primary receptionist, handling all front‑desk duties and creating a friendly atmosphere.
- Coordinate meeting setups, including catering arrangements and room preparation.
- Support HR processes by printing ID cards and assisting with onboarding tasks.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, sorting and distributing correspondence promptly.
- Maintain office supplies inventory and keep workstations organized.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and resolve any issues.
Required profile
- BA degree required.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a professional office setting.
- Preferred 2–3 years experience in administrative or office support roles.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Required skills
What we offer
- Salary of $60,000 per year plus bonus and paid overtime.
- Full‑time, onsite schedule Monday‑Friday, 9 am‑6 pm.
