Radiologic Technologist – Level I (Per Diem)

About the role

The Radiologic Technologist – Level I (Per Diem) performs complex radiographic procedures to obtain high‑quality diagnostic images while minimizing radiation exposure. This position operates under the supervision of a radiologist and supports patient care throughout imaging exams.

Key responsibilities

• Verify orders, patient ID, and obtain consents before each scan.
• Operate radiologic scanners and related equipment following safety protocols and age‑appropriate standards.
• Assist radiologists with imaging procedures, including IV placement, contrast administration, and interventional radiology.
• Evaluate image quality, label and transmit studies to PACS, and charge procedures in UChart/Radiant.
• Maintain aseptic technique, provide patient education, and support patients during emergencies, including CPR and Code Blue.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent and graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology/Diagnostic Imaging program.
• ARRT registration, Florida General Radiographer license, and current CPR/BLS certification.
• One year of relevant experience preferred; new graduates from accredited programs will be considered.
• Ability to work evenings, nights, and weekends as needed.
