Quality Technician – Pet Food Manufacturing

About the role

Join Nestlé Purina’s new state‑of‑the‑art pet food plant in Rockingham County, Virginia. As a Quality Technician you will support ingredient management, formulation, and product safety to ensure the highest standards for dry dog and cat foods.

Key responsibilities

• Lead operational support and improvement activities for the QA stream.
• Oversee processes to maintain and update finished‑product specifications.
• Collaborate with operations, providing coaching and training to factory associates.
• Serve as the primary contact for quality incidents and manage hold processes.
• Complete quality checks, drive compliance with the QMS, and support formulation expertise.
• Maintain finished‑product reference samples and photo standards.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 1 year of quality assurance experience in a manufacturing or food‑production environment.
