Maintenance Supervisor – Overnight Shift

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead our overnight team at the new Purina pet‑food plant in Eden, NC. You will be responsible for ensuring reliable operation of critical plant equipment while driving safety, cost‑efficiency and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and develop a team of maintenance technicians covering boilers, chillers, HVAC, electrical, plumbing and other plant systems.
• Plan, assign and monitor daily maintenance work, preventive maintenance programs and corrective repairs.
• Lead Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives to reduce equipment downtime and improve reliability.
• Coordinate with on‑site contractors, assist with bid services and manage external service providers.
• Ensure all maintenance personnel are trained on safety procedures and TPM standards.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, technical or military environment.
• At least 1 year of people‑leadership experience.

Required skills

• Experience with boilers, chillers, water and wastewater treatment systems.
• Knowledge of air compressors, pumps, heat exchangers, HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Ability to implement preventive maintenance and Total Productive Maintenance programs.
