Quality Technician – Medical Device Manufacturing

About the role

Enovis is seeking a detail‑oriented Quality Technician to support inspection, testing, and acceptance activities across incoming materials, in‑process components, and finished medical devices. The role ensures product quality by following established quality control procedures and collaborating with manufacturing and quality teams in a regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform receiving, in‑process, and final inspections of devices, raw materials, components, packaging, and finished goods according to quality procedures.
• Set up and execute basic inspection and testing processes, interpreting drawings, specifications, sketches, and work instructions.
• Test, sample, and troubleshoot components, electronic devices, and raw materials to ensure compliance with requirements.
• Determine acceptance, rejection, or escalation status of inspected materials and components.
• Utilize measurement tools and inspection equipment to verify product quality and specifications.
• Document inspection results, record defects, and maintain accurate quality records.
• Support final assembly of product kits, including accessories and labeling as required.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and Production teams to ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2+ years of manufacturing or quality‑related experience preferred.
• Ability to interpret technical documents such as drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured procedures.
• Ability to lift 30 pounds and work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience using Oracle and Agile systems.
• Familiarity with inspection tools and quality measurement equipment.
