Sr. Manager Strategic External Supplier Planning and Pricing

About the role

Alcon is seeking a senior leader to drive external supplier planning and pricing across its strategic manufacturing partners. The role focuses on aligning demand, capacity, and cost while supporting the company’s mission to improve global eye health.

Key responsibilities

• Lead external supply planning, coordinating demand, capacity, and supply commitments with strategic partners.
• Manage supplier pricing and cost models, supporting negotiations to meet business objectives.
• Develop forecasts, analytics, and reporting to guide supply and pricing decisions.
• Own P&L, annual budgeting, long‑term strategy planning, and forecasting.
• Coordinate transfers with contract manufacturers, overseeing timelines, milestones, and risk management.
• Design and implement standardized business processes to improve efficiency and governance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) with at least 7 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 5 years of demonstrated leadership in supply chain, external manufacturing, or related functions.
• Strong ability to communicate fluently in English and work cross‑functionally with supply chain, quality, regulatory, finance, and procurement teams.
