Quality Specialist

About the role

The Quality Specialist will plan, coordinate, and execute quality activities for the production, validation, and release of Infant Cereals and Baby Meals at the Fort Smith Nutrition facility, ensuring compliance with government regulations and Nestlé standards.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as Quality Assurance liaison to the production facility and attend Daily Operational Reviews.
• Develop, revise, and implement forms and SOPs to maintain quality systems.
• Write protocols and support validation activities within the business unit.
• Assist in Quality Compliance Audits and work with external certification bodies such as USDA, FDA, Kosher, Halal, and Organic programs.
• Lead root‑cause analysis for hold problem products and other quality incidents.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, or a related technical field.
• 3–5 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food or beverage industry.

• Salary range $67,824 – $98,155 per year.
