Quality Seed Analyst – Lubbock, TX

About the role

BASF’s Agricultural Solutions division is seeking two Quality Seed Analysts to join its Lubbock, TX team. In this on‑site position you will perform seed quality testing, manage data entry, and ensure compliance with safety, stewardship and quality standards within the Erskine QC Lab.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct day‑to‑day fuzzy and finished seed testing activities.
• Enter, review and report test data using BASF’s computer systems.
• Train and lead testing teams, calibrate lab equipment and maintain SOPs.
• Identify trends, troubleshoot issues and propose operational improvements.
• Coordinate outsourced testing with external laboratories.

Required profile

• High School Diploma; Bachelor’s degree in an agricultural field preferred.
• 3‑5 years of experience in quality control, quality assurance or quality management.
• Experience in the agriculture or seed industry with knowledge of seed quality testing.
• Demonstrated adherence to safety, stewardship and quality management policies.
