Quality Manager – Manufacturing Excellence

About the role

Clopay Corporation is seeking an experienced Quality Manager for its Goodyear, Arizona facility. The role focuses on building and maintaining robust quality management systems to drive continuous improvement across the manufacturing operation.

Key responsibilities

• Create and implement quality management systems, communicating problems, causes, corrective actions, and results throughout the organization.
• Develop and manage procedures that target root‑cause solutions, train associates, and establish in‑process self‑inspections.
• Track, analyze, and resolve customer complaints, celebrating successful eliminations.
• Audit quality control processes for compliance, report non‑conformances, and lead ISO certification efforts.
• Facilitate Kaizen events, drive Lean culture, and support cross‑training across the plant.

Required profile

• BS in Engineering, Management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of management experience or 10 years in a manufacturing environment, preferably steel.
• Proven ability to implement ISO, Lean, and other manufacturing programs.
• Strong independent problem‑solving skills with minimal supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across multiple departments and external customers.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• ISO certification processes.
• Lean manufacturing tools and Kaizen facilitation.
• Quality audit and corrective‑preventive action (CAPA) procedures.
