Quality Conformance Manager I

About the role

The Quality Conformance Manager I will support the ongoing development of Airbus' Quality Management System at the Mobile, AL manufacturing facility. You will investigate quality issues, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze non‑conformities, audit findings and operational surveillance to initiate corrective actions and prevent recurrence.
• Develop dashboards, visual management tools and statistical reports to monitor quality performance.
• Implement and monitor QMS compliance with EASA, FAA, EN9100/9110, APQP, PFMEA and other standards.
• Lead continuous‑improvement projects using lean, Kaizen, PDCA and root‑cause analysis techniques.
• Support inspection personnel, qualify new tools and jigs, and perform operational surveillance of processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, aviation, technology, business or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in aviation quality, industrial or manufacturing engineering, or data analytics.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with proven ability to conduct root‑cause analysis and drive corrective actions.
• Customer‑service orientation, attention to detail and ability to work in a changing environment.

Required skills

• Knowledge of QMS standards: EN9100/9110, APQP, PFMEA, FAA/EASA regulations.
• Experience with FMEA, Control Plans, SPC, PPS, Q6, CNQ and non‑conformance management.
• Data‑analytics and statistical analysis tools for KPI reporting.
• Lean methodologies, Kaizen, PDCA and continuous‑improvement techniques.
• Dashboard creation, visual management and digital platform implementation.
