About the role

Infosys is seeking a Pyspark Architect to join its Financial Services unit in Jersey City, NJ. The role focuses on designing and delivering big‑data solutions for banking, wealth management and insurance clients, leveraging AI, cloud and data‑led innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with customers to gather and analyse system requirements for performance, security and scalability.
• Provide solution architecture recommendations, contribute to technology framework development and support enterprise‑architecture definition.
• Research and compare market technologies and tools to identify optimal architectural solutions.
• Develop integration strategies and validate proof‑of‑concepts for proposed architectures.
• Ensure smooth knowledge transfer, adherence to quality standards and support build‑deployment automation.
• Collaborate with development teams to resolve complex technical issues during build, deployment and support phases.
• Analyse system performance of implemented solutions and flag potential risks.
• Create architectural artifacts and technical documentation to enrich the team’s knowledge base.

Required profile

• Experience as an Architecture Consultant or similar senior technical role.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical designs.
• Familiarity with financial services domain is a plus.
