About the role

The Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) seeks a licensed Psychologist to conduct psychological reviews and assessments for the New Options Waiver (NOW) and Comprehensive Supports Waiver (COMP) programs. This part‑time, hybrid position offers $92 per hour for 25‑30 hours weekly, with travel time and equipment provided.

Key responsibilities

• Travel to locations throughout the assigned service area to conduct psychological assessments.
• Conduct professional evaluations of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Review clinical, developmental, behavioral, and medical records as part of the assessment process.
• Administer and interpret standardized psychological assessment instruments.
• Prepare clear, comprehensive evaluation reports from a home office.

Required profile

• Current, unrestricted license as a Psychologist in the State of Georgia.
• Professional experience providing psychological assessment and evaluation services.
• Demonstrated experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Ability to independently manage referrals and meet documentation timelines.
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly throughout a 35‑county service area.
