Psychiatrist – Full‑time/Part‑time, Telepsychiatry – South Louisiana

About the role

Ochsner Health is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrist to join its expanding practices throughout South Louisiana. The position offers both full‑time and part‑time clinic options, including telepsychiatry opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive psychiatric care in clinic settings and via telepsychiatry.
• Supervise residents and collaborate with advanced practice providers, pharmacy, psychologists, social workers, and counselors.
• Participate in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) services and may work across child, adolescent, adult, geriatric, or addiction psychiatry.

Required profile

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
• Valid Louisiana medical license or willingness to obtain one.

Required skills

• Telepsychiatry delivery.
• Experience with Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) or Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT).
