Property Services Technician – The Rivere

About the role

The Property Services Technician will ensure that the physical aspects of The Rivere property—including buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas—meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality. This onsite role supports resident satisfaction and prepares vacant units for new occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident service requests and perform preventative maintenance.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and maintain timely paperwork.
• Assist with grounds and common‑area upkeep such as trash removal, pressure‑washing, general cleaning, and painting of curbs and signage.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever feasible.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects, and work in confined spaces for extended periods.
• Capability to work both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety standards and code requirements.

Required skills

• Basic mechanical and technical troubleshooting.
• Experience with general building maintenance tasks (e.g., repairs, painting, pressure‑washing).
• Familiarity with inventory tracking and documentation procedures.
