Project Manager - Medical Affairs

About the role

We are seeking a Project Manager to lead medical communications initiatives for our pharmaceutical, biotech and medical‑device clients. The role oversees projects from concept through delivery, ensuring scientific rigor, client satisfaction and timely execution.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams and act as the primary liaison between clients, faculty, internal departments and external suppliers.
• Develop, maintain and reconcile project budgets, monitor financial performance and ensure cost‑effective delivery.
• Plan and facilitate start‑up, interim and final meetings, manage timelines, event schedules and deliver regular status updates.
• Oversee content development, advisory board meetings, speaker training and other medical communications deliverables.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with faculty members and client stakeholders.
• Contribute to new‑business development activities within the account team.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams in medical communications or related fields.
• Strong financial management and budgeting capabilities.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized with the ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands.
• Motivational leader who can engage and inspire team members.
